These products are actually fine for anyone but as a chronic pain “girly” I liked the title. I am now 27 years into my chronic pain journey and phew I’ve been through the wringer. So here are some of my current favorite products that I am using to treat the pain and comfort myself.
I was trying to organize these into a cute little list of when and how I use each product, but honestly, I use them so often it was hard to break it down, so these are in no particular order but they are my tried and true favorite things. As a reminder, I am commission on things that are linked here and I am so appreciative of your time here:
GC Pain Cream (order here): not only does this smell good, but I think it works deeper than bio freeze. It reminds me of voltaren cream, but better.
GC Roll on Relief (order here): this is a lot closer to bio freeze, but made with cleaner ingredients. This link will give you $10 off.
Bio Freeze (has blue dye) (walmart & amazon): tried and true, but they added blue dye which is hate because it stains my clothes now, so I have to be more careful.
Bio Freeze patches (walmart & amazon): These are a game changer especially on travel days. I always get the XL ones and then just cut them to the size I need.
2XL heating Pad (walmart & amazon): I love the size of this because it covers a lot of my body, granted, I am not a big person, but it’s lovely.
Travel Heating Pad (walmart & amazon): I found this at Ollies and I wish I had grabbed more because I LOVE it. Depending on the battery pack that you buy, you will get HOURS of use out of this.
THC Jellies (order here): These can be used for recreation, but I have been using them in place of narcotics as much as possible. After years of using medicine, my body is worn and tired and I finally decided to give plants a try. This company is one of the very few that I trust not to add anything extra to the jelly.
Immune Bloom Elderberry Jellies (order here): these were a more recent addition. Any of you that are immunocompromised know how easily we get sick. These will not always keep you from getting sick, but can help you lessen the length of the sickness.
GC Bath Soaks (order here): My favorite one is the “relax” bath soak. The smell is heavenly and it doesn’t irritate my super sensitive skin. These are also a great deal, I get them often.
Frida Baby Bath Soaks (walmart and amazon): this sounds silly, but I actually like these for a relaxing bath. I’ve been using them for a while.
GC Chronic Pain Girly Ultimate Cart: this is for those of you who have a big budget. Who aren’t as worried about finances and are ready to take the plunge into using plan medicine, alongside your perceptions (don’t worry, I know that we can’t replace everything). This is for you friends.
I don’t know what ales you. I don’t know what drew you to read this, but I hope that you can see my heart here. I have spent years trying to find things to make my life better. To make pain days just a little easier. While I do make commission on these things, I share them with the hope that I can make your life just a little better and your pain a little lesser. Thanks for being here and I’m sorry that this is something we have in common.
