DIY birthdays are my very favorite. This party was a good mix of store bought and DIY this year because of how popular Bluey is. I don’t know about your house, but in ours Bluey is part of the family.
What: Bluey Birthday Party
When: Any time of year
Where: We had it at home, but this party can happen anywhere
Theme: Episode “Five” Georgia’s Birthday (you change the episode number based on the age of your kiddo)
Colors Used: Blue, White, Red
Food & Beverages (images courtesy of @lizziemichalak):
- Water & Juice, Fruit Bat fruit snacks (gummies from Walmart), Snickers hot dogs (pigs in a blanket), Hammerbarn pizza bites, Mackenzie’s homemade Mac ‘n’ cheese, Muffin’s mini muffins, Bluey cake (I bought a store bought cake and added some bluey decorations myself to save money), Bum worms (gummy worms that no one touched but were adorable).

Decor (images courtesy of @lizziemichalak):
- Food labels were made on my computer
- Store bought decor came from Target
- Banner was made by me following this method here

Activities (images courtesy of @lizziemichalak):
- Keepy Uppy Game (we had to use the board game because my SIL is allergic to latex, but the game is so fun).
- Floor is Lava (I made this with paper plates, tissue paper, plastic table cloths and lights.
- Pass the parcel (Lucky’s dads way because my husband is lame).
- Bluey Tattoo station (so fun but we had so many tattoos leftover).

Party Favors (images courtesy of @lizziemichalak):
- Bluey sticker books (found these on clearance)
- Bluey bandaid packs (a favorite)
- Allergy friendly lollipops

Hands down this was one of my favorite birthday parties ever. I am so invested in Bluey at this point that she is part of our family. I think I might have my own birthday be Bluey themed too. I know we aren’t the only family who feels this way, so I hope that if you are reading this, you are inspired and ready to host your own Bluey bash in the coming months!
