A Life In Review

Here I am again, bringing you another book list. I cannot let them go and if you continue to follow me, you’re going to get more of these because I keep reading and finding more great books. I am going to lay this out the same way that I always do. These are all book that I’ve read and recommend. You can find my full reviews on Goodreads. People We Meet on Vacation by: Emily Henry
This is one of my favorite. Summer reads and will be on every summer list I ever write.
Poppy has everything she should want, but she’s stuck in a rut. When someone asks when she was last truly happy, she knows, without a doubt, it was on that ill-fated, final trip with Alex. And so, she decides to convince her best friend to take one more vacation together—lay everything on the table, make it all right. Miraculously, he agrees. 
  Now she has a week to fix everything. If only she can get around the one big truth that has always stood quietly in the middle of their seemingly perfect relationship. What could possibly go wrong?

Paradise Problems by: Christina Lauren

Just for the Summer by: Abby Jimenez

The House Across the Lake by: Riley Sager –

Every Vow You Break by: Peter Swanson (this one is long but I feel like you need the whole synopsis to appreciate what you are getting into).
“Abigail Baskin never thought she would fall in love with a millionaire. Then she met Bruce Lamb. He’s a good guy, stable, level-headed, kind—a refreshing change from her previous relationships.
But right before the wedding, Abigail has a drunken one-night stand on her bachelorette weekend. She puts the incident—and the sexy guy who wouldn’t give her his real name—out of her mind, and now believes she wants to be with Bruce for the rest of her life. Their honeymoon on a luxurious, secluded island will be the beginning of their blissful lives together.

One Summer in Savannah by: Terah Shelton Harris (this one is HEAVY, but so good. HUGE SA trigger warning here, but well worth the read if you can handle it. It’s a tricky book to read, but a stunning look into forgiveness).

Secretly Yours by: Tessa Bailey (this book was SUPER spicy for me, but I just skipped some parts that went too far and still loved this book. I was not a huge fan of the sequel but this book was so good!)
“On sabbatical from his ivy league job, Julian plans to write a novel. But having Hallie gardening right outside his window is the ultimate distraction. She’s eccentric, chronically late, often literally covered in dirt—and so unbelievably beautiful, he can’t focus on anything else. Until he finds an anonymous letter sent by a woman from his past.
Even as Julian wonders about this admirer, he’s sucked further into Hallie’s orbit. Like the flowers she plants all over town, Hallie is a burst of color in Julian’s grayscale life. For a man who irons his socks and runs on tight schedules, her sunny chaotic energy makes zero sense. But there’s something so familiar about her… and her very presence is turning his world upside down.”

Assistant to the Villain by: Hannah Nicole Maehrer (this book is so weird and considered fantasy. It’s like one big ADHD mess, but it’s so fun. If you love chaos and cuteness, this is a book for you!)
“With ailing family to support, Evie Sage’s employment status isn’t just important, it’s vital. So when a mishap with Rennedawn’s most infamous Villain results in a job offer―naturally, she says yes. No job is perfect, of course, but even less so when you develop a teeny crush on your terrifying, temperamental, and undeniably hot boss. Don’t find evil so attractive, Evie.”
