occasionally funny, always a mess

Easter Basket Inspo

I love pulling things together for other people. Gifting to my kids is especially a favorite of mine. I know that holidays have become over commercialized and that the purpose of this holiday (and others) is not the gifts, but oh man does it make my heart happy. Easter is literally right around the corner. It is in March this year so we don’t have as long to plan, but let’s make this a special one.

I am going to break these down into sections of baskets. There will be 4. These are generalized and I am not doing gender specific, but will have gender specific toys in each of the main lists. These are just ideas, to get you going and I will always add candy to the baskets as fillers. You can spend as little or as much as you want on these. If your budget is small, there is nothing wrong with heading to the Dollar Tree and filling baskets that way.

*** These graphics were a labor of love this year and I would be honored if you shared them. You will find a link (here) to my social media where you can see them posted there and share them that way, or you can screen shot them and send them old school to your friends. I appreciate all of your support in everything that I do on this blog ***

** Most of these links are commissionable. I appreciate all of your support **

*Here* you will find the full list with all of the ideas! They are unorganized but there are over 75 basket ideas in this “folder”. Below, you will find the organized ideas that are narrowed down by age/group of people.

Kid Basket: Basket (so many options), Water Bottles, Mini Wet Brush, Chapstick Egg, Binoculars, Sticker Books, GoBe Snack Spinner, Bubble Machine, Uno Splash, Ball Toss, Reusable Water Balloons

Air Fryer Cookbook (the BEST one), Simple Modern Cup (this cup is way better than the Stanley version), Stanley Coffee Cup (these are phenomenal), Working Hands, Burts Bees, Personalized Bookmark, Kindle, Claw Clips, Dove Chocolates

Things that are always great to add:

  • Tonies Figurines for the Tonie Box
  • Candy (you cannot go wrong with a chocolate cross or bunny)
  • Gift Cards (they do not have to have a lot of money on them)
  • Nail Polish (just one or two is so fun)
  • Bookmarks for your resident book lover (check out Etsy for some fun ones)
  • Easter Grass (seriously this is a great filler so that you don’t have to fill the basket as full, but just get it from Walmart, that is the cheapest place to buy it that I have found).

This list was time consuming but something that I had so much fun pulling together for you. I will continue to try to do things like this as the year goes on. Hopefully I will get better (and faster) at creating the graphics and can share them more often. You can always find deals throughout the year in my Facebook discount group here! Thank you for shopping with me this Easter season.
