One Hundred

It’s finally here! My 100th blog post for Life of Reviews. I started blogging when I was 17 years old. I have been blogging for 13 years and that blows my mind. I brought this particular blog to life in February of 2020, having no idea that I was about to be facing a global pandemic and find myself stuck at home with my new baby (and I say stuck, not because I was with her, but because I literally couldn’t leave the house).

Originally I began writing as a way to heal from the trauma that I faced when I had my daughter in October of 2019. I was grappling with who I was and what I was supposed to do after almost losing my life. My first blog was a very serious blog (called Testimonies of Faith if you want to check it out), where I discussed moments of faith in very deep way. This time, I needed something different. I needed a place where I could explore all sorts of topics and let myself have some creative freedom (what I now know is called, a, “lifestyle” blog).

In 2020 blogging was just getting “cool” again (though I didn’t know that), and I really didn’t have a grand plan for where I would go with this, other than to write from my heart. And after that first post, my thoughts just kept flowing. So much so that I have posts planned for the next 6 months (not written, just planned lol).

I want to thank each and every one of you who has taken the time to read this blog and let me take up some of your time each month. I am so thankful especially to those of you who have faithfully followed me on here and subscribed to my blog for the last (almost) 4 years!

This year has been a big one for me in regards to my writing and I have some really cool longer term projects in the works. You already know that I am full of ideas, but in 2024, I’m going to open it up to you and ask if there’s anything that I haven’t touched on or reviewed that you’d love to see here!
