Despite the multiple food posts I’ve written this year, this really isn’t a food blog. If you haven’t been able to tell by now, I just like food. One of my favorite things to do during the holiday season is bake. A lot of us are set in our ways with old family recipes, but if you’re open to it, you might find a new one to add and pass down.
I have written out 5 of my favorite cookie recipes for you to screenshot, and added a few more honorable mentions (with links) at the bottom. I cannot wait to bake (and eat) all the cookies this year. I promise if you try these recipes, you won’t regret it! If you end up making them be sure to tag me on social media so I can see which ones you chose!
Happy Baking!
Classic Peanut Butter Cookies: These were my Grandpa’s favorite cookies of mine, so they hold a special place in my heart!

Swedish Cookies: A student of my Mom’s gave her this recipe and I have made it so many times (I have made changes over the years, but this is my favorite way to make them).

Snickerdoodle Cookies: These are one of my Mom’s favorites. I like them when they are COATED in the sugar mixture.

No Bake Chocolate Cookies: In my family these are called Cow Poop Cookies because they look like a pile of cow poo. However, despite their appearance these are SO yummy. ** Just a tip, for these cookies, do not make them on a super humid day because they struggle to dry correctly in humidity. **

Oatmeal Craisin Chip Cookies: Hear me out on these. I HATE oatmeal raisin cookies, but I LOVE these. They are my second favorite cookie and it has taken me years to perfect this recipe (most of it came from the back of a craisin package).

Now For Some Traditional Cookies: (I’m linking these because they are delicious and it’s nice to have all the cookie recipes in one place).

I hope that your holiday season is filled with lots of sugar, giggles and love. Baking is a great way to bring families together and I hope this year you take the time to cherish those moments because they truly are so special. Happy Holidays!
