5 Stars: I highly suggest eating snacks. Eat all the snacks. Don’t make them healthy. 2020 isn’t the year to eat healthy. We need comfort foods. Snacks are good for morning, noon, dinner time and the middle of the night when you’re feeding a baby! Just eat them. Stop questioning yourself.
I’ve had a lot of time on my hands to try all sorts of snacks. Here are my current favorites (don’t worry vivid descriptions are included). I’ll provide a link in case you aren’t venturing out yet!
** Some of these were recommended to me by bloggers, some were forced upon me by family (THANK YOU), and some were suggested by the worlds leading toddler snack critics. **

1. S’mores Snack Mix: This one is a new favorite of mine. I was super hesitant to try it because of the price, and because I hate that I’m so easily influenced by “influencers” on social media. Then I stumbled upon it at half the Amazon price and decided to try it out. The chocolate covered marshmallows are THE BEST part, but the graham cracker pieces remind me of the old Golden Graham cereal I ate as a kid. I have it linked to amazon, but its like $15 cheaper at Sam’s club.

2. Tru Fru Hyper Chilled Chocolate Covered Raspberries: These you really need to get in the store. They are hard to find, but SO WORTH IT. This is my favorite cold treat. I actually hate raspberries, but for some reason these chocolate covered ones are the bomb. This is a newer company who you can find online. So far we have tried these and hyper dried chocolate covered coconut pieces. It’s 90 calories for 5 raspberries, so there is really no excuse not to try them. I will link them below, but you need to check your local Target, Harris Teeter, Walmart, or Krogger.

3. Dunkaroos: These are a 90’s babies dream. Betty Crocker brought back our childhood treat just in time for summer. They aren’t the easiest thing to find, but if you go to a 7-11 gas station, that is the place to grab them. A gentleman where we are, told us that you can get a whole case of them from 7-11. They are the opposite of healthy, but I love them and I totally missed them. So far, the only flavor I found has been the vanilla cookie with sprinkled frosting. If you don’t know what these are, speak to your nearest 90’s baby (and not like 1997+, they don’t even count). ** I don’t have a link to the actual product, but this link will bring you to the 7-11 home page where you can search for the one closest to you.

4. Sconza Lemoncello Chocolate Almonds: These too are hard to find, but when you do, buy 5 packages. I was skeptical at first because I don’t eat almonds or many lemon flavored things. I finally gave in and tried one and I was hooked. So honestly you don’t have to be a fan of lemon or almonds to like these. * For extra tastiness, put them in the fridge. They taste even better when they’re cold! * ** The link below is to Amazon, but if you are a Costco member, you can get them almost $10 cheaper there. **

5. Welch’s Fruit Snacks: This snack recommendation isn’t that original, but I couldn’t leave them off the list because I literally eat them every single day. My absolute favorite flavor is the mixed fruit flavor. You can’t go wrong with these. You can call them a dessert if you want! Of all the snacks I’ve shared, these are the least expensive and the most kid friendly. Right now, on Amazon, you can get an 80 count for less than $12. If you are like me, that would last you one whole WEEK! I highly recommend these even for adults. They are great for an afternoon pick me up, and they won’t melt on you if you leave them in the car.
If you have snack recommendations, drop them in the comments, I’m always looking for new things to taste. The more sugar, the better!
